Overview
This safari takes you to three of Tanzania’s most famous wildlife destinations. From the Serengeti’s golden savannas and wildlife-rich plains, to Tarangire’s baobab-dotted landscapes and elephant herds, and finally into the Ngorongoro Crater, home to the Big Five, this 6-day tour combines game drives, scenic transfers, and mid-range accommodation. The trip starts in Arusha and ends with a transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport.
Itinerary
Meet and transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport to your Arusha lodge.
Greetings from Tanzania! Our safari guide will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) and take you to your Arusha lodging. An optional Arusha city excursion may be offered, including the local market, Maasai Market, and Cultural Heritage Center. Dinner and overnight at Greenside Hotel in Arusha.
Full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch and overnight in Karatu.
After an early breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch at Tarangire National Park. In the evening, stay at Farm of Dreams Lodge near Karatu and have dinner there. The park is known for elephants and diverse wildlife.
Scenic drive via Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti with a game drive.
Depart after breakfast and drive toward Serengeti National Park, stopping at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint along the way. Continue into Serengeti for a game drive before sunset and overnight at Safari Haven Serengeti Camp inside Central Serengeti NP.
Full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park.
Spend the day exploring Serengeti National Park, home to the Great Migration and abundant wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness and return to Safari Haven Serengeti Camp for the evening.
Transfer game drive to Ngorongoro Crater with crater descent and overnight in Karatu.
Begin with breakfast at the Serengeti lodge and travel toward Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for a game drive, enjoy picnic lunch, and later proceed to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Farm of Dreams Lodge.
